With the release of WP3, is this forum now dead?

Will it be merged/renamed/remain for MU focused issues of WP3?

Ha. I see the "Version" option bar never even got updated to 2.8 ... !

The forum will remain for the short term, as there are still people who haven't been upgraded.
Eventually though, it *will* get moved. If you're not up to speed on the dev chats, the next two months will see a wordpress.org refresh. That includes this area.
Likely after Monday I'll have more specific news.

Yes, not all plugins etc are ready yet for WP3 ... BUT I do agree at some point soon for a culling of all older versions.

The plugin directory, especially, and to a lesser extent the themes section is becoming overloaded with obsolete stuff.

Those are getting an overhaul as well.
