    Hi,
I received this error when putting a restricted item into URL, restricteditem.mydomain.com. Wouldn't it be better if wp-signup.php displays some message such as "This blog name has been reserved for internal use..."

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/mshao/public_html/wp-content/themes/home_new/header.php:5) in /home/mshao/public_html/wp-signup.php on line 365

    Thanks

What do you mean by a 'restricted item?'

If you mean like a symbol like a '#' mark, it looks like my install just strips them.

When you do enter a username that has been reserved, it does output "That username is not allowed." That was one of the suggestions I made a few months ago.

On a second thought. It might be because that I did some modification to the signup page by adding some HTML last night. I will restore the page and double check if it's true.

    Thanks
