i've seen that this wysiwyg editor is small, featured and fast enough to be made as plugin or maybe viable enough to replace tinymce... i wouldn't know...
could someone take on it? i didn't know how to integrate it...
I doubt you're going to find anyone to code this for you. Unless the plugin/hack will benefit a large number of people, it's rare that someone will just out of the blue offer to code it up.
You might find someone to do the work if you paid them.

I've managed to get Advanced WYSIWYG editor from labnotes.org working on a couple of mu servers, it doesn't replace tinymce just initializes the default setup and adds a few extra formatting buttons and some new ones for embedding video/swf/dcr. I'd be interested in any feedback on how it goes in various versions of mu, just unpack into mu-plugins to install.
