Hi I'm a newbie to wordpress-mu and I'm using this for my personal training clients blogs on my fitness training site....
and the thing I can't figure out is how I set up an area for THEM to create their blogs...on their own
or do I set them up and then put them on as an author?
The other thing is that the import tool isnt working and thats a bummer

and it can be a bummer to not know what you're trying to import too... what is the system you want to import from, and what is the error you have when importing?
I'm trying to import from blogger and it keeps telling me the username and password is invalid eventhough it works when i log into blogger...
It's all set up. All you do is point them to yoursite.com/wp-signup.php.
