Hello everyone. I was wondering is it worthy investing time and money in building MU community based on the alpha versions? Is it possible that future versions for example some beta realise would not be compatible with the current alphas? How easy is the upgrading from one nighty build to another? The hole thing seems very unstable to me in this moment.

It depends on how much your time is worth really. Track the changelog on the download page, download the nightlies and diff against your install to see what has changed.
Most of the time it'll only be a matter of copying files over but sometimes whole directories get moved about (like the recently created wp-includes/js/ directory)
If you don't want to spend time and money maintaining it yourself, talk to Matt and you might be able to arrange something.
