Removing users from Wordpress 2.0 hosted by ethink.org.uk? (3 posts)

I have been advised that my problem might be more easily solved this area as my blog reads contents= "Wordpress MU" whatever that means???

Removing users has been covered quite a lot in the past but not when using WordPress 2.0 and users having roles.
It has been mentioned that by reducing a user to '0' they can then be deleted.

My problem is that there is no 'Delete checked user' option and at the same time I cannot add any more users to the blog.

I would like to delete one user added earlier by accident and also add two more students to the blog, my new untested blog is at http://www.stbeesprimaryschool.ethink.org.uk and my attempt to make things clearer are here:-

    http://www.chocolatebones.co.uk/user_options.doc

Would I be better starting again and adding a WordPress blog to my own server space??

Any help at all much appreciated, have trawlled all the help forums but cannot find anything that I either understand or answers my questions directl

    Cheers
    Kevandali

You'd be better of contacting the people who host your blog for you - ethink.org.uk. Surely they have a contact form or support or something?

You may very well be better off with your own hosted version of Wordpress, for what you want to do.

I agree with Andrea. You need to contact your host about the issue.

As the admin of a single blog on a WPMu install, you do have the option to remove users from your own blog though. Dashboard -> Users. When you click on edit for the user in question, you do have the option to remove their rights.

    Hope this helps,
