Add all users to a blog? (6 posts)

In addition to a user creating and having access to their own blog, I want all users that choose to create one to also be automatically added (with authoring capabilities) to an existing blog. Has anyone done anything like this? Is it possible? Can someone start me in the right direction? I should say that I'm new to.... everything. WP, PHP, MySQL....

just out of curiosity... why would you want to do that?

Seems easier than finding a way to share WP's login system with another forum system.

I think you're going to have to create a plugin to pull this off. It's technically possible but it will take some time.

Well, bugger... Given that, which is easier? Sharing WP's login system with something else, or adding all new users to an existing blog?

depends on what other script you want to interface with. bbpress would be "fairly" is for example while vbulletin would be quite hard if you wanted profile info synced as well.
