    hi there,

I am successfully using that plugin but I tried to give my images a style,... I fill in the style field with: clear:left; or float:left; insert, the inserted code looks like <img .... style="float:left;" .../>

but after I save and edit again this style information just disappears...

any idea why and where to check?

PerS, are you the author of imagemanager ? The plugin looks awesome, I've come across it before, but when i installed it on my test MU env. the mapping of the directory files wasn't built in, does it work with MU ? Is there some sort of thread/reference/tutorial on how to coinfigure it to work with MU ?

i second that. I love image manager for single WP installations - a MU port would be wonderful.

the image manager plugin does work on MU, I've got it working on my test install.

The only issues are that it requires activation and then the options saving on it.

Here is the thread for getting this to work:

quenting, I guess it will not come as a surprise that I will release a ImageManger version that will support wpmu (installed in mu-plugins) .. since I need it myself :)

suleiman, thanks for the work you have done.

PerS, that's great news you're working on integrating this plugin into MU.

My cheif complaint with it is the requirement that options be saved by each user before the plugin is activated, so fixing that would be really cool :)

As far as taking credit, the real credit is owed to Cori, who initially hacked this plugin to work on MU.

I do think this is the right forum to ask my question, I repeat:

the imagemanager port works great, the code is inserted right but after saving the style disappears so this seems to be a wordpress or another plugins problem, is there a rule that I am not allowed to insert css style stuff into my posts?

Could be. Is the RTE turned on? I know it's set *somewhere* to strip all kinds of things from posts.

what exactly do you mean by "RTE" ? sorry I am not familiar with that term.

The only relevant thing I could find is this:

WordPress should correct invalidly nested XHTML automatically and this option is unchecked in my installation.

I even activated a plugin called "wpautop" which Disables the wpautop function for the_content and the_excerpt but it did not help either.

I noticed style and even title "tags" get stripped out...

    RTE = rich text editor

    ok here's another problem:

after upgrading to firefox 2.0 I constantly get javascript errors when trying to insert images with imagemanager.

Did anyone else get some of those? if not I'll try and post some here :-(

    ok guys,

can anyone tell me where the settings are stored regarding what gets filtered out of my posts?

wpmu is still filtering i.e. the borders I set with imagemanager around my pictures.... look bad like this if all styles get stripped out of posts...
