The site is working fine using sub directories. Users can create blogs, add posts, etc.... But my blog is not showing up. I can add posts and I can get to my posts with the full path but I can't go to a list of all my post. I thought the default location for the posts are at http://www.domain.com/blog/. But that takes me to a 404. But on the side menu I can get to the archives and such. It's not a huge deal because I am going to create seperate blogs for different things, but I'm one of those people that is bothered when I can't figure things out.

Are you not able to go to http://www.yourdomain.com and get to your site? This is technically your default blog, unless of course you installed into domain/blog as andrea_r mentioned, then you would follow that path.

If all you are talking about is going to yoursite.com/blog on a default install, this will not work. You will need to go to yoursite.com/blog/admin (AFIK)

I have the blog installed to the root. But on the main page, http://www.domain.com it shows a page to create a new account or logon to your account. It also shows the lastest updated blogs. I edited that page. But I thought there would be an address to go to that would take me directly to my blog.

Well when you login to your account, there's a "view your site" link right across the top with your blog title.

It takes me back to the root. Which maybe that's what it is suppose to do. I have only used the standard wordpress so I'm use to seeing the latest 10 entries on the blog page. I'm just going to create a new blog called site news. But thanks for your help.

Actually, you can set your main blog (at the root) however you like.

The "index" page you get is from the home.php in the "home" theme.

If you'd like, change your theme to something else, then modify it to suit your needs.

Any register links are going to point to the right place, so it shouldn't be a big deal.

To verify what I'm referring to, open the "home" theme, and change the file name for home.php to something like not-home.php, and watch your posts show up.

Refer to this in the codex for more info on templates and their hierarchy. (aka: what gets looked for/included, and in what order).

"so I'm use to seeing the latest 10 entries on the blog page." gave it all away.

That, and mention of the home theme, produced a logical conclusion.

    :D
