Disallowing Users to Create Their Own Weblog (5 posts)

    I have installed wordpress-mu as an easier way to manage 5-10 weblogs for myself and my friends.
    However, I can't find how to disable the feature that allows any user to start their own weblog on the system.

    Thanks for making this amazing piece of software, and also thanks in advance for any response.

    delete or move the wp-signup.php file and remoev any links to it.

    Either that or put a die command right at the top. You may want to allow signups later on.

    Well, I want to allow user signups for those weblog owners who want registration for their websites.

    What I don't want is a weblog automagically created for every user.

    So comment out the option to register a blog, and make username the default (and only) selection.
