WordPress MU

Does anyone know why the <!--more--> tag gets stripped out of posts? And how/where to get it back?

In searching, the only post that came up about it was this one.

Unfortunately, there were no (posted) answers.

I've tried adding all kinds of variations of the more tag to the kses file, but still no dice.

Apparently the filtering should be turned off for level 10 users so is your user level 10? Maybe that code hasn't made it from single user WP into WPMU yet.

Thanks for tip. All my blog owners are level 9 because of the Gallery2 integration with the WPG2 plugin.

Workaround: Disable filtering on posts
