    my users have embraced widgets, saving me from having to copy and customize themes on a user by user basis. now they want news tickers and scoreboards. for now, i've convinced them to use the rss widgets. but theyre boring. i've considered editing tickers into individual sidebars and then allowing widgets with

    'before_widget' => '<div id="%1$s" class="widget %2$s">',
    'after_widget' => '</div>';

    but there are too many people for that. what if i created a bunch of widgets at widgetbox or spring widgets - and then created wordpress widgets that called them? has anyone already tried this?
