How does one go about merging two wordpress mu blogs? Exporting all the content to the other site and setting up new blogs and users is one option but there is are so many blogs, posts, and categories that it would be very painful.

Importing a file is painful? I would think it would be a simple click of the button.
Or am I missing something here?...

Well, I searched the forum looking for merging blogs and came up with this topic, which is what I want to do. I think I'm using 2.6 (I just upgraded about a month ago to the current version). Is there a built in tool to merge two blogs or does it all have to be done at the database level?

Export the content of both blogs.
Import both files into one blog.
