Storing media files on a seperate server (2 posts)

    Has anyone figured a way to store media files like image uploads, css, and javascripts on a seperate server?

    Say like you set up a sub domain media.yourmuwordpress.com and its hosted on another server so you can take some of the load off your main server and all its queries etc.

    What OS are we talking about anyway? Big difference on hte question. You should be able to do it with Linux as some sort of redirect. I'm drawing a blank on what it's called.
