I'm almost done migrating my site to something close to MU1.1, from a quite old and modified nightly (march 2006). I've sorted most problems but there's 2 left that i can't figure both involving rewrite_rules :
- when i create a new page, it shows as a 404 (or the posts list if the theme doesn't have a 404). Old pages are fine, old and new posts are fine, but new pages won't work. I've tracked down the issue to the rewrite_rule option in wp_XXX_options not being written to DB. The old pages are working because their rules were already in DB. The new ones don't because theirs never make it.
- when i create a new category, it becomes linked in the blog as domain.com/category/category-name/. Before it was domain.com/tag/category-name/ . Only the new links point to category/category-name/, but there isn't anything there (404 again) while if i visit /tag/category-name/ (even with a new category) it works.
Any idea on how to solve these problems ? Thanks
