when you install without vhost the url of blog is :

    http://www.site.com/blog1
    and
    http://www.site.com/an_other_blog ecc

to add blogs you go to : http://www.site.com/wpmu/wp-newblog.php

But you will experience multiple problems similar to that broken URL that is generated with the email notices as the WPMU code that deals with installing using subdirectories isn't being actively maintained by anyone right now.

    When I go to http://www.site.com/wpmu/wp-inst

    gives:

    "Could Not Find Blog!"

and when I go to http://www.site.com/wpmu

    Begin installation again:

    "Welcome to WPMU

Please make sure mod_rewrite is installed as it will be activated at the end of this install.

If mod_rewrite is disabled ask your administrator to enable that module, or look at the Apache documentation or elsewhere for help setting it up..."

I don't find other directory that content the blog

Thank you for help me as soon!

P.D. My english is very little, sorry.
