I just installed WordPress-MU but when I go to the admin page, I don't see the "Plugins" link anywhere!??

How are plugins installed under WordPress-MU?

There are two different types of plugins for this version of Wordpress.

    Mu-Plugins (site wide plugins)
    and just plugins (user-enabled plugins)

To enable the regular plugins feature you have to navigate to site admin > options > Menus (Enable or disable WP Backend Menus) (bottom of page)> and then check the box next to plugins

    Thanks!

It's strange though that it is not enabled by default...

It that way so that your endusers don't worry about stuff like that. They're just there to blog and anyting else is just extras.

Trust me. The plugin page is a whole lot of confusion. Especially when they turn them all on at once. :)

Yeah. I def see mu-plugins working a lot better. Let the site admin mess with the plugins and the bloggers enjoy the experience. ;)

just wonder why "admin > options > Menus (Enable or disable WP Backend Menus) (bottom of page)>" will also disable the Plugins menu for adminstrator account, that is weird, and seems not reasonable.
