I found a tiny error in dashboardswitcher.php. When logged into the admin pages with IE7 a JavaScript error is triggered due to the comma at the end of line 54. Removing the comma fixes the error.

Doh, didn't read the first line of the post. This fixed it for me in IE7, FF still works :)
