WordPress MU

Is there a plugin that can import posts/blogs/users ect from a bloghosted based system (bloghoster.net) to a wordpressMU install?

Not that I know of.

Hover, MU does have an Import by RSS option so you can get the posts & comments after you've set up the user.

I don't even see a mention of an exporter in the support forums. And just a single thread in wp.org with no follow up.

Maybe SOL I'm afraid.

What exporters do they offer?

Well all i can in the control panel is a way to export the mysql databse to a text file.

Do the blogs hosted on bloghoster have an RSS feed?

Yes they do.

but since im replacing the bloghoster wouldn't that be a bit hard as i'm planning to lace the wordpressMU in the same location.

Wow. yeah, that would make it extremely difficult. Like, impossible.

make sure you do that SQL to text dump, so at least you;d be able to copy/paste. :D

(or, write your own import script)
