Can I install WPMU on one domain and them move it along with all the blogs to another domain later?

Moving files, no problem. Zip it move it unzip, update wp-config.php. Done. Database is another story, could be a major PITA. Took forever to track down references to the old domain name and replace it with the new domain. Simple enough as text editing the database file. Lots of trial, lots of error. PITA on a huge DB, that's all.
