till yesterday I was able to configure my wpmu installation, now something is broken. I'm not able to activate themes or change options.
When I try to activate a theme (Site Admin -> Themes) it shows up a 404 page on the url http://.../wp-admin/wpmu-edit.php?action=updatethemes , the log says Premature end of script headers: php5.cgi, referer: http://.../wp-admin/wpmu-themes.php
and in the wp-admin directory appears a nice core dump file
$ file core
core: ELF 32-bit LSB core file Intel 80386, version 1 (SYSV), SVR4-style, SVR4-style, from 'php5.cgi'anyone can help me understand what is broken?

p.s. I'm on dreamhost hosting and using wpmu 1.2.5a (I also tryed to remove all plugins but this doesn't solve)
