Splogs are being created on my site although I limit new users to our own email domain. The form correctly blocks attempts to register without an email address or with one from an outside domain. Still new users are being created without an email address at all and new splogs owned by these users.
Does any one know how to stop this?
I'm running WPMU 1.2.1, so I'm a bit behind the times. Does anyone know if an upgrade will fix this?
The problem you're describing was already reported and fixed:

You should upgrade to 1.3 because WPMU 1.2.1 has many critical security issues.

I'm on 1.3 and I see similar issues with people being able to register even though I've banned the email domain. They just never register sans email.
