Global Login (6 posts)

Is there a way to easily create a global login? I am running WPMU and I have a login on the homepage of my site. This login only allows the admin to login there as it says that nobody else has sufficient access unless they are an admin.

So how can I create a single login box on the homepage where anyone can login and it will go to their blog?

    Thanks

I just found this http://86confessional.com/dev/login-anywhere but the problem is it doesnt work if I am on a separate blog that the user does not have an account for.

For example... I am a user that has a blog set up at blogA.mysite.com but I want to login at blogB.mysite.com. When I go to log in it gives me this error:

You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.

The reason is its taking me to: http://blogB.mysite.com/wp-admin/ and this user does not have access to BlogB.

Can someone please steer me in the right direction? thanks!

You could use the mu-admin-bar plugin to have a global login. Relatively easy until you come across a blog theme that isn't compatible with it.
