Make a template available only to site owners' blog, not visitor-created blogs (4 posts)

How can I make it so that a theme/template is available to the owners of the main site, but not the visitors who create blogs on our site? So, at domain.com/blogs, will be the main page. If a visitor signs up for "mynewblog", it will be at domain.com/blogs/mynewblog. The main blog at domain.com/blogs will have a theme that cannot be used at domain.com/blogs/mynewblogs or any other user-created blog. Thanks.

Set it as your template then turn it off in the Site Admin area.

Site Admin -> Blogs -> Edit Link

Enable for that blog, and do not enable globally.
