I was wondering if it's easy to seperate the admin backend from the hosting enviroment.
My idea was quite simple:
- Copy the WPMU installation to another subdomain, or what you want.
- Remove the wp-admin folder and wp-admin.php from the hosting enviroment.
- Make sure all plugins are the same on both "installs".
- and you are done actually.
The only consern I have is the path for the uploaded file that you normally have on you blog.
The path for wp-content/blogs.dir needs to be remapped in the amdin version that you copied.
The question is where you can set that.
