i already installed wordpress and finally got it working with my former site's template. i now want to install mu so that my users can create their own blogs. instead of installing mu in a separate directory, is there some type of feature (somewhat like an upgrade) that installs the files that will convert the wordpress blog to mu?

another option that i have is this: if i just install mu in a different directory, how can i bridge the wordpress blog with the mu blogs in the other directory so that the admin of our main wordpress blog can also admin the primary mu blog with the same login information?

why not just use a mu for th whole thing. export your WP blog and import it into blog #1. move over the themes and plugins. check out main site only hacks.
