I wonder if it is possible to have one and the same theme for the admin and for the blog. I will explain. Lets say that the user has choosen a specific theme for his blog. Is it possible the same theme to load for the administration area of his blog ?

No, this isn't normally possible. The next-best thing would probably be the Dashbar plugin. I don't know whether or not it works with MU, but it's supposed to put the admin menu onto your blog's front-end.

For WPMU it's the admin bar plugin http://wpmudevorg.wordpress.com/project/MU-Admin-Bar

Well you could but it would require quite the change, first you would have to code "skins" for the dashboard to match each theme and code it to go accordingly to the users blog theme. So technically it would be possible AFAIK but it would be hard.

The backend doesn't have any built in hooks or filters for theming, so it's not really possible unless you hack up the code to look like spaghetti.
