Did anyone managed to embed Brightcove videos in MU posts or pages?

Nope, any video site code (among other things) will get stripped out of mu.

the file kses.php shows what tags are allowed and if you do choose to edit that file to allow things like that without a plugin, it's a huge gaping security hole.

The plugin above is one file, you can drop it in the mu-plugin folder and to put a video in an entry, you just switch to the HTML tab and type [videositename ID#].

Easy-peasy. And secure.

it works with WP 2.5 now and doesn't need to switch to HTML tab! GREAT!
