WordPress MU

We are currently using WPMU on a single domain and it is providing multiple blogs (ie. site1.com/blogs/blog1 and site1.com/blogs/blog2).

What I would like to do is have WPMU installed on sitex.com, serve up every blog (/blogs/blog1-10), yet have each domain (site?) reference their specific blog(s):

site1.com/blog1
site1.com/blog2
site1.com/blog3
site2.com/blog4
site2.com/blog5
site3.com/blog6
etc..

All the blogs will be physically located on sitex.com, yet when you're at say site1.com, when you're on one of the blogs all the urls are as if it is located on site1.com... (each domain hosts a main site, however, each main site/domain will have multiple blogs associated with it)

Is this domain server stuff, .htaccess, ?! Where does one start looking and what should I be looking at?

Thanks Andrea. That particular post is specifically for subdomains, however, there was a link within it which lead off to a multi-site plugin.. Still unsure about running more than one blog on a different domain.. Still digging - thanks tho!

Oh, a lot of us do it. :)

not sure how well it works with subfolders tho.
