Please do realize that you are opening yourself up to a very big and very real security risk. No if's and maybe's involved here. It's a big old target on your chest and a .45 down your throat.

There's a discussion here about adding in html code to the kses.php file. That's what controls the filters. Someone wrote up a different solutions here. If you search the forums for "text widget javascript" which is what I did, you'll find a number of discussions on the topic as well.

I believe there's even a plugin over on wpmudev.org for doing this.

edit: By the way, please provide your domain and ip address. I need to make sure I drop them into our spam filters if you;re going to do this.

And it;s better to have plugins for each kind of javascript you;re adding. If it;s code for adsense, get an adsense plgin. If it;s Amazon, get an Amazon widget. Etc... ad nauseum.
