WordPress MU

I want to request the Language selection feature that Wordpress.com has when people sign up.
So that they can select the language they want when signing up.

Features requests around here have become somewhat like an american gas stations. Although there is never a sign, it's 99.9% self serve.

In translation what i'm trying to say is that if you or someone else can code the feature it has a good chance of being included if not, then it might be a while.

As a side note, I believe Automattic is planning on releasing the wp.com code eventually. However they are understandably busy at the moment with the sudden success of akismet and wp.com.

Oh I just assumed there was already a feature since on Wordpress.com when you sign up you have the option of selecting a language.

Any update on this?
