WordPress MU

hey folks

i am trying to install MU onto a dual machine (hsphere powered - with asp, php, mysql etc) over at jodohost.com.

they dont seem to support mod_rewrite, but i am not sure how much of an impact this will have on me. comments?

also - i have managed to install it (at domain.com/blogs), but when creating another one (domain.com/blogs/one) it doesnt work. is this because of the above?

anyone have specific experience with this host?

Yep. Creating subfolder blogs depends on mod_rewrite. So does permalinks.

so - how do i disable permalinks (just delete the year/month/day/topic string for the permalink?)

is there another solution for multi-blog location if i cant use extra (dynamic) directories?

have the jodohost install the IIS7 Rewrite Module which will make everything work.,

I believe the web.config file that comes in the download works perfectly with it.
