I was wondering how easy to view a member's profiles without login, just by going to the url for members and your in!
Is this normal? Because if you compare facebook you can't easily view anybody without login in!
Is there going to be a fix for it?

Posted 16 years ago #I am also facing this issue with buddypress — I would like to have the root blog (where buddypress user profiles are) be restricted to subscribed users. I am looking for a privacy plugin that is compatible with wordpressmu.

In terms of privacy of seeing profiles, this is coming in a later version by default, but for now, you can do what I proposed at the following:

As well, using the forums there might help avoid confusion since it really is a buddypress issue, not WPMU specific.

Posted 16 years ago #Thanks! — using the "More-Privacy-Options" plugin worked for me. I don't seem to have the problems wit the plugin that some others have had.
