Need shopping cart plug in for Charity work (10 posts)

    Here we go again.
I have tried eShop, which gives an error every time someone clicks "Add to Cart"

quick-shop, tells me "try again" when ever I try to activate it.

And wp-e-commerce, isn't multi user so as soon as you get more than one blogger the program fails.

I'm giving away clothing to those in need - shipping them across the country. Everything is free, they just pay the shipping. At this point I'm willing to pay for help or a plug in that will work.

Does anyone have any ideas? Please help.

An unrelated question, how do look up my old posts without creating a new post then clicking my ID?

In my case e-commerce from instinct.co.nz works OK.
eShop also works, but it's problem is that it needs a separate page for each product.

According to the guy who designed it you can use it with posts, but it doesn't work properly with pages either.
Of course I am using GoDaddy, so that is probably the issue - usually is.

Yup, unfortunately, GoDaddy hosting is kinda 'special' :)

"special!" That's priceless. Thank you, I needed that laugh.

With the help of eShop I figured out that I had unpublished my shopping cart page.

And it must be working properly because people are now placing orders for free baby clothing and not eMailing me 30 times a day telling me their stories.

    Thank you for your help.

    EDIT - OK THATS FUNNY!

PS VentureMaker, where you able to get e-commerce from instinct.co.nz to work with MU?

If so, would you mind posting a link to your site so I can see it?

I would normally send you a Private Message, but I'm not sure how.
    Thanks,
    ~e

would love to hear more about this.

we have been impressed by http://www.envato.com's network. anybody know how they do their paypal integration.

we probably are going to need a much beefier system down the road though.

Maybe it's an idea to Bridge MU with OpenCart ( http://www.opencart.com )?
We're about to set it up with our MU/BP installation, and does everything we need...

Maybe a cool thing to check out ( pun intented :P ).
If someone is able to develop the bridge, please contact Us at info@zipyourmix.com

We've got some cool plans ;).
    Let us know!
    Cheers,
    Aron
