Hello and excuse me for my bad english, ;)

I want to know if it's possible to install a WPMu and sell blogs of WP.

    Is this legal?

    Thank you

It would definetly be legal. However you might have a hard time getting people to pay for a blog unless you add a few features they can't get anywhere else.

Reasons people may be willing to pay for some space!!!

    - Blog is advertised on a bigger community
    - No ADS
    - Let users run their own ad code (adsense/qumana etc)
    - Provide more space than 5-10mb
    - Install space eating plugins (podcast, videocast, gallery) and give a little space - pay 20 per year and get 100mb (not all users want to put their personal stuff on Flickr or YouTube etc
    - Provide 10 ok templates for free sites
    - Provide 30 kick-ass templates for free
    - Enable a subscription plugin for paying members (and more storage)

    Other suggestions??

I would think your best bet would be to find a niche and try to serve it. Sort of like how Andrew does the educational blogs and (I forget who) does for his photographic blogs.

My plan is for a free service and then allow options with extra space or maybe domain forwarding. (Still working on that though)

Another idea would be to allow folks to move over to a true WordPress blog for a fee. You would then have to worry about upgrading them when each new Wp release comes out though. I don't think they would like it to see WPMU users getting upgraded while they wouldn't.

You pay for Google Adwords. Google Adsense is where you place the adverts on your own website and Google pays you for clicks.

So how would you actually implement some of the features discussed here? ie. enabling a YouTube plugin, making extra themes available or granting extra (or any) disk space only to paying customers?

I don't see how that could be technically implemented with WPMU... ?

And how would one manage the customer backend?

The making extra themes available is easy.

you can enable a specific theme for a specific user already.
