that would not be the original menu, my guess is you deactivated the original plugin menu and the one you are seeing is the one generated by the plugin commander, right?
At least that is what happened to me. and the original plugin menu is visible but not accessible :-( via the admin bat :-(

There were significant menu changes in 2.7, so if you want to verify what it *should* look like, take a quick login to wp.com.
