WordPress MU

I waas rearranging the order of the BuddyPress widgets on the sidebar at http://blogpeoria.com, when every single one I was using vanished. All is see on the page is a h2 headline saying "RECENT BLOG POSTS" but nothing is running below.

On the widgets admin page, I am seeing this message:

`%BEG_OF_TITLE%Recent Blog Posts%END_OF_TITLE% '

The widgets are showing as being used, but I don't see the little blue draggable bars on the right hand side of the page.

I'll post this on the BuddyPress support forum, but I anticipate waiting a long time for an answer, if there is one.

Those two things are internal wp markers for widget titles. I can't imagine ever seeing them in the normal course of operation.

Anything change recently on your site? New wpmu, bp versions? I've had totally odd things like that happen when I do an SVN update and a merge fails for some reason. Leaves the code trashed.

Look at the code for bp-blogs-widgets.php and see if you find any '<<<<<<<' oddness in the file.

Yeah, something's not getting parsed there.
