WordPress MU

I run 3 blogs on my MU installation. I want all 3 to have the same users, which was working perfectly in 2.6. This had disappeared once I've upgraded to 2.7 and it's a MAJOR issue for me.

How can I make sure all 3 blogs (the main one and 2 others) will have the exact userbase? I don't want to run a script that once in a while updates that, I want users registrating on any of these blogs automatically becoming members of all the others.

Actually, I don't mind having users registered to any blog join a community for ALL blogs on my system, just like it was before the upgrade.

In this respect 2.7 made a serious problem for me. I also want to assign different members of the community as authors in different blogs and since I've upgraded I can't do that.

Any fast fix?

what do you mean you can't? how did you do it before and why is it not working anymore? more details please.

Sounds like maybe it was a hack you added in before that got overwritten.

I'm pretty sure there's a few threads here with quick plugins on how to do that.
