WordPress MU

hi, I'm new in the wordpress world, I've never used wp before, so sorry for the newbie's question.

I've installed wordpress mu, but my users will be italians.
Can someone please tell me if exist a translation for wpmu, and if yes, where I can get it?

Not the optimal solution, but would be a good last resort.

Well, I am sorry I didn't realize signing my responses was considered spam. To me it is customary to sign something I write. If you are in charge of the place, or someone else who is in charge tells me I shouldn't be signing my posts, then I will stop. I don't understand why my signature is a problem though. My comments are generally helpful, that is the part that matters, isn't it?

There's no spot here in these forums that specifically state rules, but these forums are part of the wp.org forums, and there are guidelines there.

I did not realize it was a problem. I do apologize for adding my signature to me responses. Again, it is just something that I am used to doing. It was never meant to be spam, and that is not why I am here obviously. I have posted more questions looking for help than anything. When I get such good responses and help I like to try and "give back" when I can and answer the questions I might know the answer to.

thank you for the answer, but I don't need a translator for the blogs, I need a "WPMU GUI" in italian... the frontend: the layout, the menus... and also the phrases to the members like for ex. "please log in", "welcome" etc.
And maybe if it's possible also the admin's panel!

I find the folder directory structure a bit confusing, but look under mu/tags and you should get what you need. The default theme kubrick has a translation here:
http://svn.automattic.com/wordpress-i18n/it_IT/trunk/messages/kubrick/ make sure to use that with an internationalized version of kubrick.

they might have a default theme in italian (non-localized) that will be easier to work with then the localized version if you will only be blogging in Italian.
