I had a request from one of my users for more options to themes as they've noticed that some of the themes include a tab labeled "Current Theme Options." I've noticed that these are within the function.php file and seem pretty standardized across the themes that allow this.
Um, where does this come from? :)
Thanks,
-drmike
That would be me (me and the hubby of mine). It makes an admin panel, like the WP Theme toolkit, but one that works better in MU. It also includes the widget functions bit.
Yeah, we're working on more options too. :D Although if a code junkie wants to get to it before we do, should be pretty easy to see what we've done and add more. We're hoping to get to this in the next month.
Is there a release for it as of yet? :)
Other than what was in the theme packs? :D Not really. I take it that means you liked it?
Hmmm.. I should put this on my ever-lengthening to-do list.
I had a request from one of my users to have the themes more editable. :)

andrea-r thanks for your contribution so far. But we would like this too. "I sound demanding" haha... Anyway I like your blog and flickR family album.
Moot now for me but being able to edit the themes even a little bit is I would say about 10-15% of the requests/ questions over in the WP.com forums.
samchng - no worries. :) You can't possibly be as demanding as the children in this house. :)
(I know, I owe you an email or something about adding an admin panel...)
