Setting the permalinks for all new blogs (4 posts)

When someone signs up for a new blog i would like every blog to automatically use a custom permalink structure.

I can't rely on the user setting them in wp-admin

I tried the "new_blogs_default" plugin but it isn't setting the permalinks in WP 2.7. You have to login to the admin click on settings > permalinks and click save changes for the permalinks to become active. And we can't do this as we are blocking out the settings menu.

So, does anyone know where in the code i could hack it so with ever new blog sign up it sets the permalinks to my custom structure.

I did try looking for solutions on this forum but i can't find anything at all.

    Thanks!

he is using that one it seems. are you using an older version? I had the same issues with a version odler than 1.2 on a subdomain install and it seemed fixed with the latest 1.2 version
