WordPress MU

My site has a two column layout, 630px left and 300 px right.
On my left column i have a Dynamic Content Gallery plugin and beneath it I want to have a single post from the three sub blogs on my network.

Is there a plugin that will just feed me the latest post from a specific sub blog?

Register each block as a sidebar and add RSS "Feed" widgets.

Or...
Write multiple loops wrapped in "switch_to_blog" and "restore_current_blog" WPMU functions.
