The codex only has upgrade instructions from 2.6 to 2.7. Where are the specific instructions from 2.7 to 2.71?

Um, it was released yesterday and the codex is written by volunteers.

But in a nutshell, if you're on 2.7 there should be a notice. that notice (in the footer) may have a link to upgrade-core.php, which is an *auto-upgrade*.

which means all you do is click a button, fill in your ftp info and it does the rest.

Failing that, the manual process is *exactly* the same as for 2.6.x to 2.7.
