    Hello,

I was searching for a plugins (hacks) of the default user role and not allowed themes but I was not able to find the right ones.

Is there a plugin which would set the user who create a new blog to the editor and he/she was allowed to use only some of the themes uploaded in the themes folder?

I've tried this plugin http://wpmudevorg.wordpress.com/project/default-user-role but it doesn't work for me.

And for the themes I haven't found any plugin.

    I use WP MU 2.7.

    Thanks for help.

The site admin can activate themes that users can pick from, but keep some themes private. This is most commonly used to prevent users from picking the home blog theme.

The theme settings works. Thanks. What about the default role? If I cannot set the default user role, could I hide some options for users, e.g. Plugins?
