WordPress MU

Hi there,

I am a newbie to WPMU and am trying to configure it to best suit my application. I have gone through all the basic setup stages.

I now want to limit the amount of functionality the User can have.

For example, when a user registers to run their own blog through my website I do not want them to be able to:

access the links manager
access the pages manager
access the appearance manager
access the plugins manager
access the tools manager
access some of the settings

Furthermore, I would like my eshop plugin to be activated automatically on registration.

Is any/ some/ all of the above possible?

for the menus, why not use the menu plugin? http://wpmudevorg.wordpress.com/project/Menus

for auto activation of eshop, have you tried using it with plugin commander?
