I just installed a fresh copy of WPMU I then installed and activated the nextgen plugin at this point everything seems to be working properly the gallery tabs display correctl but if I try to create a new gallery or try to upload or even click on the options tab I receive cannot load errors. any thoughts on why this is happening?

I think so. it works fine in my instance, wpmu 2.7.1 + Nextgen Gallery 1.3.1

I also got it to work on idividual blog activation.
However, when I activated the plugin site wide there seem to be a problem. The Gallery menu does not appear then for other users in the WPMU site. Anyone seen this? Can NextGen be activated site wide?

I didn't active it side wide, I left the freedom to active it or deactive it to the end user and it seems my normal also can use it correctly.
