    Please alow me to translate:
    Titile: Installing without a subdomain.
Apologies for not writing in English, it is not my strength so I preferred to write in Spanish.
Well, I have the following problem: At the beginning of the installation I elect to create the blog in the internal folder, http://www.misitio.com/BLOG. The instillation continues with no problem but when I try to create a BLOG for myself it is created as BLOG.misitio.com which I do not want. I’ve done the instillation several times trying to create http://www.misitio.com/blog. For some reason the folder keeps getting deleted from the system, and is replaced by a sub domain which I don’t want. Can anybody guide me to the correct outcome: rsabala@gmail.com MSN and MAIL

    Thanks in advance.

As far as I know, within the code itself the options are not coded for subfolders. That's why it keeps trying to find a subdomain, even if you told it not to.

No, there isn't a fix yet that I know of, yes it is a common problem that hasn't been addressed.
