Posted 17 years ago #It can't be opened in the forum here either. Basically you're running into the url format sanitizer in wordpress. Obviously the sanitizer in sharepoint is less restrictive if it allows foreign characters.
While it's technically within spec for servers and browsers to use non-ASCII characters when both systems can handle them intact, but for general transport the non-ASCII characters should be escaped to ASCII compliant character entities.
You'll either need to rename any files in sharepoint that use non-ASCII filenames or you'll have to modify the URL sanitizer in wordpress. I don't envy you either way.
