It may be in the latest WPMU, but there's no way I'm upgrading until the bugs are worked out.

Well, that was helpful (in knowing it was there) but for the life of me I couldn't get it to work at *all*. I tried it in a regular WP install and it borks the editor completly. I am about to pull my hair out over something that should be relatively simple.

Hi guys, and please excuse my ignorance here, but I am completely lost on this spellcheck thing.

I have a basic mu installation using the default editor. There is a spell check icon in the editor bar. when a document is written and a person clicks on spell check, it "apparently" does something, but what is the question. It simply doesn't seem to work at all in terms of correcting spelling problems.

So I am thinking that I must have missed something, not configured something, or perhaps, just maybe, completely clueless.

Could anyone offer a little insight on this? Is there some series of configurations that must be done to get the spell checker to work? ( Or the really goofy question ) it is actually there to begin with out of the box?

Oh yes, version 2.0.4 is my version according to the read me file.

This is a really old thread. :) The latest verions have the spellcheck in TinyMCE (the rich text editor). Not sure why yours isn't quite working; it should right out of the box.
