I am running a private install of WPMU 2.7.1, bbPress 1.0 RC3, and BuddyPress 1.0.1 for my extended family to communicate with each other.
A big part of that is sharing photos since we are spread out and only see each other once every couple of years. BuddyPress's built-in albums aren't ready yet, so I made a blog and figured I would use regular WP gallery features to handle our photo-sharing.
I want to keep it as simple as possible for my non-technical relatives, so I would rather use WP's built-in media library than secondary galleries like NextGEN. I also need the ability to play all the pictures in a gallery in slideshow form. Lightboxing is a plus, but not absolutely necessary.
Any suggestions on how to get that going? Right now, I have Scissors and Wordpress Multibox PlugIn installed, but the pictures are not being displayed properly. Clicking on a gallery item goes through to the attachment page rather than opening a multibox.
